Qatar Foundation is encouraging safety practices on its construction sites by presenting weekly awards to its construction workers, according to QF officials. The awards, which consist of a certificate and a cash reward of QR 125, honor two construction workers every week at the new students residence halls sites.

The weekly awards were the brainchild of Christopher Silva, sustainability education coordinator at QF. The main [idea] is to really recognize the great work that the construction workers are doing on the new residence halls
