Qatar National Library is now open to public
Qatar National Library, located in Education City, just opened to the public on Tuesday, Nov. 7. The library, which is 25,000 square feet, is home to more than 26 thousand print books, several computers, 3D printers, a theater, a café, a multi-purpose exhibition area, study spaces, music studios, and a basement floor with ancient Arabic texts that are protected from direct sunlight.
QNL is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day, except on Fridays, when it is open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Anyone can go to the library and those with a Qatari ID can sign up and become a member.
